   2024 Spring Cleanup day news

Great turnout for the 33rd Annual Mulberry River Cleanup Saturday!
Great job everyone for collecting 3 full trailers full of debris that was scattered along the Mulberry watershed and making it unsightly. About 200 participants came and picked up trash along Hwy 23, Hwy 215-upper river road, Shores Lake road, and the surrounding areas next to the Mulberry River. We want to thank everyone for coming out to help with the cleanup event. The cleanup could not have happened without your participation and hard work. The event was sponsored by the Mulberry River Society and hosted by Turner Bend Outfitter. It is made possible with the generous support and donations from various agencies, local businesses, and individual such as these following:
Keep Arkansas Beautiful, Arkansas Stream Team, U.S. Forest Service, Green Source Recycling, KUAF, Mulberry Mountain, White Rock Mountain, Byrd's Adventure Center, Scott family, Don O'Neil, Oark General Store, Arkansas Brewing Company, Coors Light, Eagles Aerie 3455, River Town BBQ, Post Winery, Mt. Bethel Winery, Mark McGee, Pack Rat, Wiedehker Winery, Meadors Lumber's, Paradise Pizza, Graphic Services, Turner Bend, and more.
Many thanks to Mark Weathers, and Debbie and Danny Stillwell, David Gottschalk, and others for organizing the day's activities.
